The Journey Begins

In this blog post, I will be sharing my inspiration for writing Redemption and the challenges I faced along the way. Join me as I delve into the depths of Maurus's quest and the enchanting world of Myrosia.

The idea started in 2015, but due to personal events, I was only able to complete a chapter and did not get back to writing until November of 2022. I completed writing the novel in early December of 2023. If the book is successful, I plan on continuing the story as originally planned as a trilogy. Each book in the series will be able to stand alone instead of being an open ended ending as is the case with most trilogies.

I started writing a fantasy novel with anthropomorphic characters (minotaurs, lion men, etc...). It is the start of a potential trilogy. The idea of writing a book came to me several years ago. I have always loved the fantasy genre and enjoyed reading books by R.A. Salvatore, Tolkien, Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman, Robert E. Howard, and many more. I have great admiration for the rich and vibrant worlds these authors have created for their stories. I wanted to finally put my fantasy world I created in my mind on paper and share the interesting story with all of you.
